This is a prime example of the double standard with which the Washington Post treats Democrats and Republicans. And, mind you, this is the the paper which sets the tone and conventional wisdom for all political coverage by the establishment media.
When I saw Jeb Bush's post-debate rally described as follows:
Jeb Bush’s first post-debate political rally started a few minutes early, in a rec center room built for 200 but only half-full.
It immediately reminded me that not long ago in the same Washington Post,
I read this a few months ago:
But when it was time for Clinton’s appearance to begin Wednesday morning, half of the 700 seats in the place were empty.
(emphasis added)
There it is in a nutshell.
When Jeb Bush gets 100 people in a 200 person room, the Post calls it half-full.
When Hillary gets 350 people in a 700 person room in bad weather, the Post calls it half-empty.
And you'll never believe the biased spin of the two headlines...
HERE'S WHAT JEB BUSH, UNDERDOG, LOOKS LIKE
Vs.
HILLARY CLINTON HAS LOST THAT NEW CAR SMELL
That's it. Your establishment media at work. Tell me again about that liberal bias?
