Natalie Cole, Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter, died on December 31, 2015 from “ongoing health issues,” at the age of 65. Her son and sisters released the following statement regarding her death:
"Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived ... with dignity, strength and honour. Our beloved mother and sister will be greatly missed and remain unforgettable in our hearts forever."
