The Sanders campaign, obviously upset they didn't receive this endorsement, comes out swinging against an organization dedicated to fighting for human rights.
Briggs goes on to explain in the article why Sanders deserved this "establishment organization” endorsement over Hillary. I'm sure if they got it, we wouldn't have heard a thing about the establishment.
Moral of this argument. Everyone who’s against supporting Sanders is part of the establishment.

After the Human Rights Campaign announced on Tuesday it would back Clinton, the Sanders campaign criticized the nation’s largest LGBT group in response to a Washington Blade inquiry for a reaction.
“It’s understandable and consistent with the establishment organizations voting for the establishment candidate, but it’s an endorsement that cannot possibly be based on the facts and the record,” said Sanders campaign spokesperson Michael Briggs.
