Received this e-mail today from Russ Feingold’s (D. WI) U.S. Senate campaign:
Friend --
Who said it -- is it the presidential hopeful who genuinely thinks that gay marriage leads to Christianity becoming "hate speech," or the man who thinks he can win over Wisconsin with his own personal super PAC?
Think you can tell them apart? Then take our quiz: Who said it -- Ted Cruz or Senator Ron Johnson?
"The League of Conservation Voters [is] an extreme left group on an environmental jihad."
The Violence Against Women Act is "divisive and highly partisan."
"[Democrats] don't want to let those idiot inner-city kids they purport to be so supportive of... they don't want to give them the same opportunity their own kids have."
"The Paycheck Fairness Act is nothing more than a cynical political exercise that would...cause workplace conflict."
"[...] I said Washington treats Social Security like a Ponzi scheme. You know what? I did say that -- 'cause it's true."
The truth is, Ted Cruz and Senator Ron Johnson are more similar than you think. If you're against Ted Cruz in the White House (and we sure hope you are!) you should be just as against Ron Johnson staying in the Senate.
And that's why we're working around the clock to support Russ Feingold with everything we've got.
Good luck!
