Josh Marshall gets email from the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and it's a good thing. That's how we know that they've decided blocking a Supreme Court nomination is going to be a great fundraiser. Here's part of the email from Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Senate Republicans have made a commitment to ensuring that the American people have a voice in the selection of the next Supreme Court Justice.
I hope you will join us by signing the petition to stand with Senate Republicans as we hold our ground in waiting to confirm a new justice until after 2016, the time by which the American people will have chosen a new president and a new direction for our country.
Your support means everything at this pivotal moment in American history.

That's their declaration of war on President Obama, the Constitution, and the Supreme Court. Maybe it's time for President Obama to reconsider his decision to not make a recess appointment. He's got until Monday afternoon to do it. It's not like it would escalate this more than the Republicans already have.
