After a Super Tuesday that came and went with nary a mention of Dr. Ben Carson's name—much less any concrete delegate support—Carson says he sees no political path forward.
I have decided not to attend the Fox News GOP Presidential Debate tomorrow night. Even though I will not be in my hometown of Detroit on Thursday, I remain deeply committed to my home nation, America. I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening's Super Tuesday primary results. However, this grassroots movement on behalf of "We the People" will continue.
It was not to be: Carson may have had perfect credentials to run as a true outsider candidate fighting to take Republicanism to even greater levels of obstructionism and aspirational theocracy, but his campaign suffered with every interview and debate performance, as it became clear just how little Ben Carson knew about any of the topics facing America—and, worse, how incapable he seemed of learning about them.
Carson will "discuss more about the future of this movement" during his planned Friday speech at CPAC—ironically the very event that helped promote Carson's would-be conservative hero status in the first place. There, he is expected to explain why even though he isn't running for president anymore, true patriots should still continue to send him their money.
