This will be short. I’ve been getting some complaints from the Clinton side that Bernie supporters are insulting southern Democrats by saying that Clinton mainly just winning states that the Democrats won’t win in the fall. That it’s wrong to say that Clinton only has a southern firewall, so it’s meaningless to point out that the south is just about done voting. They argue that she’s strong all over the country. That it’s wrong that Bernie outperforms in the north and central US. That it’s unfair to point out that Clinton hasn’t won a non-southern state in weeks.
In short, they don’t seem to like the portrayal of her as a southern-only candidate and want her to be seen as having a broad base of support.
I certainly don’t want them to be upset. So to help out, I revised the standard delegate-target map to one that will hopefully be more to their liking. Is this better?
(thanks, XKCD!)
