HRC supporters need to understand one thing loud and clear. She voted to authorize war against Iraq. Bernie Sanders did not. That is the single, clearest point in the last fifty years in which any member of Congress was asked to demonstrate true leadership and NOT go with the crowd. HRC has made a life out of going with the crowd and the Iraq War authorization was the one moment that if she ever wanted to be POTUS she should have demonstrated her leadership skills. Instead she voted due to a political deal, a log roll with W.
A true leader would have voted against the Iraq War. A true leader would not admit she owed another politician a vote that was going to cost hundreds of thousands of lives. Tell me how she makes amends for agreeing to destroy Iraq and leave an entire country a wasteland? Ask the people who now live under ISIL how pleased they are that she now regrets her vote. That is a black mark against every single politician who voted to authorize war against a country that had done NOTHING to harm our interests. You tell the widows and orphans, the Christian refugees, and the Kurds why you support a warmonger who exchanged her vote for money that the state she represented deserved without any quid pro quo.
Bernie Sanders has not changed his stance on much of anything in 40 years. HRC has shifted wherever the sands are building a bigger dune. How can you overlook that? He has been on the right side of history for everything except Israel and expensive DOD toys that HRC also has supported. She has been on the wrong side of history on EVERYTHING except healthcare and children's rights until it was essential that she change her views. And even on healthcare she has now backpedaled from what she advocated for in 1993.
Based on her Iraq War vote alone, you are a disgrace to every educated, moral, or rational person in this country if you support HRC. You are saying it is okay to elect someone to the White House who admits voting for a war because she owed another politician a favor. Not because it was moral, necessary, or just. Not because war was the best option. Not because her constituents wanted war. And please do not be hypocritical and say that is how politics works, because you have certainly attacked other politicians for doing the exact same thing or bitched about politics generally. If you want the world to change, you take actions to change it. Voting for HRC will not change a damn thing.
She is using every dirty trick in the book to avoid being pushed out of contention a second time. Tell me that an ambitious politician who has been embarrassed once is going to run a completely clean campaign to prevent it happening again. Explain the debate schedule, Tulsi Gabbard's resignation from the DNC, the video of Bill Clinton campaigning at polling places, the acknowledged media bias, and every other incident.
I won’t vote for him or any other GOP candidate, but I would rather have Trump as president over HRC. At least if he screws up he'd be impeached immediately and his vice president would have to face a very angry country. No one would dare impeach the first female president and we'd be stuck with her warmongering, Wall Street-backed policies. No, thank you.
