I understand we need to focus on the general election From here on out that’s what I intend to do, but this is so infuriating.
Sanders lost the nomination, he lost it in March 2016. But for some reason, he thinks he still deserves the nomination (Meaningless polls). Even though he is more than 3 million votes behind, he is 272 delegates behind, Hillary has 504 supers delegates, and he only has 40. After all this he still thinks we should nominate him. He is losing, no he lost. When will it sink in...
Sanders thinks he can still get the majority of the pledged delegates; can you say delusional. The math doesn’t lie. You can try to twist it every which way, but the math is the math. It’s not going to happen.

As it stands, using delegate counts from Daniel Nichanian and estimates for Tuesday's contests from the Green Papers, Sanders needs to win 67 percent of the remaining pledged delegates in order to pass Clinton by the time voting ends.
More Math...
The WP
If you include superdelegates, among whom Clinton has a big lead, Sanders needs to win more than 90 percent of the remaining pledged delegates to clinch the nomination. Which means, essentially, that he needs to win every delegate, since winning 85 percent of the vote in Democratic contests earns you 100 percent of the delegate total.
Sanders believes he is losing because... the system is rigged against him. Does he really believe only certain states count. Like the South, well, they are too conservative, really? Sanders knew how the primary system worked, he knew before he got into the race. He is stoking the fire, getting his voters enraged. Will they be so angry, that they stay home and not vote? Revolution, you know!

And then there’s Sanders, his wife Jane’s and some of his prominent surrogates’ dismissals of the heavily African-American Southern primaries won by Hillary Clinton as irrelevant red states that are too conservative, too “brand loyal” and too unacquainted with their own best interests to have voted the “right way”; nearly all-white red caucus states like Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and nearly all-white, red primary states like West Virginia notwithstanding.
Will Sanders continue to be divisive and tear the party apart or will he try to unify the party. It is anyone's guess. Mine, for what it is worth, he will continue his scorched earth campaign through the convention. I hope I’m wrong.

If Sanders does hope to have a future in Democratic Party politics, he will eventually have to tell his supporters the truth: that he simply lost the primary contest, despite a hard-fought race. He’ll have to walk back some of his sharpest anti-Clinton rhetoric, and find some way to become a bridge to the voters who have become so fervently devoted to him.
Will there be chaos at our convention, maybe. After the Nevada convention, I don’t think anyone can say for sure that there won’t be. The only person who could stop it is Sanders and he doesn't seem inclined to do so.
