You might have heard of Grosse Pointe, which is actually made up of 5 individual communities just northeast of the city of Detroit.
It is home to extreme, and I do mean extreme wealth. Warning, videos contain offensive terms.
Grosse Pointe is frequently referenced in television, film and literature, often as an icon of wealth and luxury. Grosse Pointe is known for a very preppy lifestyle, including dress, auto, and homes. The classic "preppy/old money" style is extremely popular in the area,
An example of the Pointe’s median household income is in Grosse Pointe Park's which is $101,094.

Anyway.. it is also known for its whiteness.
And its racism.
In early March, several South High students posted on social media photos of themselves at a party posing with the N-word scrawled across their stomachs
You would think these white pieces of trash would learn? But no. Just the other day….
Another incident occured involving Grosse Pointe South students.
“Unfortunately, over the weekend a handful of Grosse Pointe teens, including three South students, chose to record a video that included offensive, racist statements regarding African Americans….
The video showed students interviewing one another about how they'd treat black people if elected U.S. president in the 2040 election, said senior Melba Dearing, 18, of Grosse Pointe Park, who is black.
"One of the answers was they should send black people back to Africa. And they said the only states where African Americans could go would be Maine and North Dakota and … Idaho, but then one said, 'Oh no, I like Idaho potatoes. Don't say that.'
The “good” news. if there can be said to be good news, is the reaction of the administration. But this is intolerable. It makes me sick.
