I know I’m not alone in thinking this: There’s a lot of nothing happening in Washington these days.
This Republican Congress is one of the least effective in years, and letting it stay that way would be insane – literally. Doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results is the definition of insanity. But that’s not how we do things in California, and it’s not how California’s next senator does things, either.
My good friend – and California’s Attorney General – Kamala Harris is running for Senate, and I am all in on her candidacy. If I learned one thing from working with her all these years, it’s that when you’re talking about Kamala, you’re talking about someone who not only gets it, but who gets it done. She’s exactly who we need in Washington.
With California’s primary just hours away, I’m asking personally here: Will you give $5 or more to help me make sure we’re calling Kamala “Senator Harris” next year?
Kamala is ready to run circles around Republicans. I’ve seen her do it a million times, taking on everyone from the big banks to big oil.
She’s put our kids first, fighting against trafficking and child abuse. She’s made criminal justice reform a priority. And she stood by struggling homeowners when the foreclosure crisis hit hard, securing billions to help them get back on their feet. Kamala doesn’t do easy – she does what’s important.
The way I see it, this is an easy choice. We either elect Kamala Harris to fight for the voiceless and vulnerable in Washington the way she has in California – or we sit this one out and watch the Republicans keep filling the Capitol with hot air.
I know what I choose. How about you? Can I count on you to donate $5 or more by midnight to help give Kamala’s campaign a big Election Eve fundraising boost?
Thanks for joining me on this one,
Gavin
