Dear Hillary Clinton,
Hillary all you have to do is pick Bernie Sanders as your VP and you would have the election in the bag (it would be a done deal before November even gets here). Simple... right? Apparently not, sometimes you must let go of differences and come together to ignite progress. I've decided that Bernie is the only candidate that I want as president (I will accept him as your VP [The only way I'll vote for Hillary]), and if you don't choose him, then I will not be voting for any candidate, because Bernie Sanders is the only person that aligns with my ideals and I would feel like I was lying to myself if I voted for you (Hillary) just, because you would be the better option then Trump [Which I believe to be a horrible reason].
We (us the American people) are forced into aligning ourselves with one of two parties and I can no longer be part of that corrupt (horrible) system. America is known for the choices that we have and are given in everyday life, but when it comes to an electing a public official it always comes down to two choices [because usually when there is a third option... they are usually forced to side with one of the two candidates as well (Bernie)]... To me thats not the democracy that I thought I would have to deal with, but sadly America is not so great and amazing as people say we are. It's funny, because usually the individuals making these statements are the ones that deliver these racist/xenophobic (and etc) agendas to their poorly educated followers. They use fear as a tool for their agenda and that is truly sickening in every way. Trying to conquer hate with more hate only leads to more hate, it forces us to repeat history over and over again. When are we going to wake up and realize that we've been going in cycles of history repeating itself over and over again. This madness needs to stop. I've always been proud to call myself an American, but now I find no pride in being American (and I served in the United States Navy for about 7 years and hopefully will be going back soon).
How can I be proud to be an American when I hear a presidential candidate say comments like the following:
“Laziness is a trait in the blacks. ... Black guys counting my money! I hate it.” - Donald Trump
The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yamakas every day.” - Donald Trump
"If I were running 'The View,' I'd fire Rosie [O'Donnell]. I mean, I'd look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers, I'd say, 'Rosie, you're fired.'" - Donald Trump
I want to be able to find it in myself to vote for you Hillary, but I don't see that I can without Bernie Sanders being on the ticket. I want to vote for you, because Trump would be the end of America as we know it (Literally Almost Every Country Leader Hates Him). Countries would turn against us if he took office and I want to vote for you so that won't happen, but I cannot turn against my ideals just, because I don't want Trump. Many people talk bad about you and it's funny, because people say some mean and horrible things about you and it makes my stomach turn (Why do people think they have the right to judge you and assume your a horrible person... Yes you've lied and so have everyone else.. At the end of the day we all belong to the Human Race [that is the only race that truly exists])... Because at the end of the day you are a wife... you are a Mother... You are a grandmother... You have the political experience... You have Former President Bill Clinton by your side.
It seems like people believe that being a politician is a easy job and anyone can do it. Well they would be completely wrong. You are constantly feeling pressure from every angle and trying to make everyone happy and at the same time you are also wife (or husband), a mother (or father), and etc (and the list goes on). And thats why I believe that I don't see you smiling that often and why would you, because I know it would be extremely difficult for me smile (unless its a fake smile).
The last person I want to see president is Donald Trump, because it would be devastating for this country, and to be honest I would most definitely leave this country (because I love moving and living in different places) in a heartbeat if he's elected and I don't want to do that, because I have family and friends that I love, but I know for my personal happiness that I could never live in a country with Trump as the President and I would never serve in the United States Navy again with Trump as the Commander-in-Chief.
So Hillary... You have the ability to make a Dream Ticket with Bernie Sanders as your VP (and you would win just by announcing it) and give me a reason to vote and prevent Trump from winning, but if Bernie Sanders is not your ticket then I will not be voting for any Presidential Candidate period.
Very Respectfully,
