“ I think it goes back to what she really does out of the kindness of her heart.”
It’s not an isolated event. Again and again people have shared their stories about Hillary being there for them through the years. This is who Hillary is.
“I trusted her when my life was on the line. And she came through. Not for the cameras. Not because anyone was watching. But because that’s who she is. Kind. Caring. Loyal. She had my back.”
9/11 tapes reveal raw and emotional Hillary Clinton
Then a uniformed firefighter with battalion 58 in Canarsie, Brooklyn, Alles arrived at Ground Zero 20 minutes after the second tower collapsed. He stayed there for two days and nights, seeking survivors amid the ruins. What struck him most about Clinton that day, he said, was what he called her “compassion”.
“She really went out of her way to speak to the first responders on the site to reassure them,” he said. “I never forgot it.”
Alles was also struck by how Clinton quickly grasped the potential health risks of Ground Zero, and how doggedly she pursued treatment for those who suffered. “We all knew from the get-go that the air was contaminated,” he said, “but we had a job to do so we kept on working. Senator Clinton was at the forefront over dealing with it, she showed herself to be a fighter.”
Kind, Caring. Loyal. She had my back.
This is who Hillary is. It is what she has quietly done for countless people through the years. Her long history of advocacy is driven by that kindness, caring, and loyalty. It is the heart of who she is. Whether we knew it or not, she had our backs.
It is why she never quits. It’s not about ego or power, fame or wealth. It is about doing as much good as you can, for as many as you, for as long as you can. That is who Hillary Rodham Clinton is. That is what she will do for us, our Nation, and the world as President.
While the Media ignores or denies the heart of Hillary Clinton, we cannot. We need to share that heart — that kindness, caring, and loyalty — with others. They need to know that this is not the election of the lesser of two evils, but the difference between caring and hate, intelligence and willful ignorance, steadfastness and unpredictability, competence and a con man. They need to know that they have something good and important — someone uplifting and strong — to vote for. Amidst the darkness and hate of the Trump campaign, we must bring light. There are only 52 days left until election day.
It’s up to us to save everything good in this world.
She can’t be there for us, serving as President, if we’re not there for her now. We can’t leave her alone in the arena. The forces unleashed by Trump’s campaign of hate are already doing harm, as Chris Reeves’ diary painfully illustrated. It is far from the only example. Trump’s delight in bigotry, sexism, nativism, and violence is calling like to like. And he revels in it.
We must work our hearts out the next 52 days to defeat the wave of darkness that hungers to crash down upon us. Everything depends upon it.

Together we are stronger than anything that we face. Love does trump hate. Let’s stand for one another, for Hillary, our nation and the world, and do this.
