Those are 13 national polls. Add up the margins. The total is 53. Now divide by 13.
The average is 4.077
Obama’s margin in 2012 was 3.9% and he won 332 Electoral Votes.
I also know some people are freaking out on some state polls, for example, a new CNN/ORC poll in Colorado that has Trump +1 — that poll says Clinton is only going to carry 48% of non-White voters, if you can believe that.
This is a closely divided country.
We have not YET had the debates.
Clinton by all indications is still ahead nationally, and in more than enough states to win the electoral college.
Yes, earlier today I posted one Virginia poll, and when a poll has some interesting data I will look at it, but usually not just the top line.
Remember, averages of polls, even when they include some bad polls, are your friend.
