1) The citizens of Flint are STILL receiving water bills! Like $200/month! The nerve!
2) The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be doing a Benefit Concert for Bernie Sanders at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in LA, on February 5th.
3) Ammon Bundy has called for the remaining "militia" members at the Malheur Preserve to end their occupation.
4) 80,000 nasty Tweets have been directed at Megyn Kelly, since Donald Trump whined about her asking "tough questions", and (dabbing eyes) he no likey.
The word "bitch" was tweeted 423 times, "bimbo" 403, "whore" 88, "skank" 39 and "ugly" 59.
Gee, is it just me, or do those numbers actually seem kinda low, for 80,000 tweets!
5) Washington DC has issued over $1 million in parking tickets since the storm last weekend. Shouldn't there be some kind of exception made under these conditions?
6) Jerry Seinfeld is 61 years old.
7) Over the weekend, Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson, who previously made headlines for wearing a necklace of bullets during an interview, was questioned about her 2012-2013 tweets in which she referred to President Obama as the “head Negro” in charge and that he wasn’t a “pure breed” because his father wasn’t born in the United States.
Her response was that she, herself, is "always getting called a half-breed". And, when fighting with Liberals and "even, establishment", you go back at them with "the same silliness they are giving you."
This has to make one wonder what is going on behind the scenes in Trumpland. Those terms are part of White Supremacist lingo, and nobody else uses them in today's world!
8) The TPP was drafted behind closed doors, by corporate lobbyists and government officials like Akira Amari, while journalists, human rights advocates, and the public were locked out.
Just days before world leaders are expected to sign the undemocratic Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) on February 4th, Japan’s economic and fiscal policy minister Akira Amari, one of the TPP’s chief negotiators, has been accused of accepting more than $148,000 in bribes from a major construction company.
How many other politicians involved in drafting the TPP have been taking bribes?
We can only assume.
This is exactly why policy that affects billions of people and our Internet freedom should never be made in secret. This is exactly why we need to stop the TPP.
To sign the Petition to Obama asking him not to sign the TPP, go to OccupyDemocrats or fightforthefuture's web site.
I know, it seems fruitless, the President seems to have his mind made up, but it's the least we can do, to let him know how we feel.
9) The latest research now claims that small quantities of dark chocolate are good for you. However, you might want to spend a bit more for the good stuff, and avoid products made by either Hershey or Nestle. Both those companies are highly invested in anti-GMO efforts.
10) The Koch Brothers' corporation, Koch Industries, perhaps the greatest polluters on the planet, have extracted pledges from 150+ legislators to sign absolutely NO LEGISLATION that spends any money to alleviate Climate Change.
11) Will "Mopgate" finish Christie? Last week, the day after the huge snowstorm, Governor Christie got very annoyed with a questioner in NH asking him why [the hell] he was campaigning there, instead of being in NJ to support the people of his state.
Christie replied, in his usual rude and thoughtless manner, "It's already DONE! It's already DONE! It was ONE county! We have 21 counties! What do you want me to do? I don't know what you expect me to do. Do you want me to go down there with a mop?"
The guy has the compassion of a flea.
YES, actually, if Corey Booker could shovel snow, then you could "grab a mop" and at least ACT like you gave a tiny little shit about the people who elected you. Lord knows you could use the exercise.
I hope this latest insensitive remark finishes him off. Stick a fork in it. He's done.
(P.S. Actually it was TWO counties).

Thanks to a $5.6 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Cornell has dispensed with any scientific integrity, and is running a propaganda campaign that promotes GMOs and pesticides.
U.S. Right to Know, an independent nonprofit funded in large part by OCA, looked into the Gates-funded Cornell Alliance for Science, launched in 2014:
"A review of the group's materials and programs suggests that beneath its promise to "restore the importance of scientific evidence in decision making," CAS is promoting GMOs using dishonest messaging and PR tactics developed by agrichemical corporations with a long history of misleading the public about science.
So much for the hallowed and ivied halls of learning."

Plea for HELP! I apologize for the “unusual” formatting of my posts. I can’t figure out how to create paragraphs with a return between them. I have tried to find some guidance in the HELP documents, but I guess I haven’t used the right keywords. I’ve tried “Line Spacing”; “Leading”; “Paragraph Spacing”; “Hard Return”. I’ve also tried holding down different function keys while hitting Return (Opt + Return; Control + Return, etc); and I also tried the same combos with the Enter Key. Obviously, none of these worked. What am I missing? HELP!!

*NOTE* - Please understand that I do not claim to be a “journalist”. I am only passing on bits of information, which others have researched, that drift through my awareness, on any given day. I watch, read and listen to any number of different news and entertainment sources, and it’s more than anyone could possibly intake and retain in a day, so I created this little daily “cheat sheet” for myself, so that I could remember all these oddball facts. Then I decided to share these tidbits, and thus was born the Daily TILT. I do this for fun. I hope you enjoy it.
Message me to SUBSCRIBE to the Daily TILT ("THINGS I LEARNED TODAY")
**NOTE: I purposely do not include links or photos in the TILT. The idea is to not have one story be highlighted above all the others. And sometimes links can be stressful. I, myself, sometimes get conflicted when presented with too many choices, so I thought I'd save you the trouble of having to make any of those types of decisions for a few minutes, while you read the Photo and Link-Free TILT!
I encourage you to further research any story that interests you, though. They are easy to Google.
