1) Vampire Weekend is planning a blow-out benefit concert for Bernie Sanders in Iowa City tonight.
2) $70 million has been spent on advertising for the Iowa caucuses so far.
3) Medical Cannabis gleaned enough signatures to get on the 2016 Florida Ballot.
4) In Iowa, one must be a registered Republican in order to get a free ticket to a Trump event.
5) At any given time, 30% of the cars driving around in a city are looking for parking.
6) A recent poll found that 63 percent of young Republican millennials support marijuana legalization.
7) The NY Times has endorsed Hillary Clinton. They think that she is the most qualified for the job.
8) Yesterday was National Corn Chip Day. Damn! I missed it...I'll have to celebrate it (belatedly) today, instead!
9) To make wine taste better...pour back and forth between glasses, or pitchers, if you have a whole bottle. (About 5 or 6 times) It aerates the wine and takes the bitterness away.

Turns out, Carly Fiorina served on the board of Merck Pharmaceuticals, and earned $83,000 for that position. Merck, meanwhile, sells vaccines derived from fetal stem cell lines, gleaned from aborted fetuses.
During Fiorina's tenure on the board, anti-abortion groups asked Merck to stop producing and profiting from these vaccines derived from fetuses, but the board refused to stop the practice. Oh, the hypocrisy!
11) There was a huge increase in malware registered during the recent Superstorm Jonas on the east coast last week. Speculation is that it could be from an increase in the downloading of porn, or possibly, from an increase in the downloading of pirated movies.
12) Flint, Michigan has no current plans to replace the lead pipes. Instead they are relying on supplying the residents with bottled water. How many bottles of water does it take to run a bath? Oh, no, that's out of the question! Sponge Baths and "Mexican showers" forever for the citizens of Flint!
But do they have to go with providing tiny little bottles of water? Do you have any idea how much unnecessary plastic waste this is creating?
How about giant water trucks, instead? How is one expected to bathe in a pint of water?
If that's not bad enough, now they found that many other Michigan city's may be similarly affected with higher than normal lead levels, including Grand Rapids, Detroit, Saginaw, Muskegon, and Holland.
Here's Governor Snyder's phone number, if you want to call him and tell him to resign: (517) 335-7858.

*NOTE* - Please understand that I do not claim to be a “journalist”. I am only passing on bits of information, which others have researched, that drift through my awareness, on any given day. I watch, read and listen to any number of different news and entertainment sources, and it’s more than anyone could possibly intake and retain in a day, so I created this little daily “cheat sheet” for myself, so that I could remember all these oddball facts. Then I decided to share these tidbits, and thus was born the Daily TILT. I do this for fun. I hope you enjoy it.

**NOTE: I purposely do not include links or photos in the TILT. The idea is to not have one story be highlighted above all the others. And sometimes links can be stressful. I, myself, sometimes get conflicted when presented with too many choices, so I thought I'd save you the trouble of having to make any of those types of decisions for a few minutes, while you read the Photo and Link-Free TILT!
I encourage you to further research any story that interests you, though. They are easy to Google.
