Make no mistake. Trump has unleashed hatred and it truly is deplorable. And while not every voter for Trump is evil, there is more than a fair share of sick mofos supporting his evilness.
Case in point: Kurt Eichenwald. Mr. Eichenwald is a Newsweek reporter who broke several stories on Trump’s business conflicts. He also has epilepsy:
Throughout my adulthood, I have never made a secret of the fact that I have epilepsy. It’s better controlled now than it has been during other parts of my life, but not completely—my neurologist tells me I have intractable epilepsy, meaning treatment will never bring the condition fully under control.
Newsweek: HOW DONALD TRUMP SUPPORTERS ATTACK JOURNALISTS, by Kurt Eichenwald
You may be able to guess where this is going. Yes, a cowardly Trumpist assaulted him via the internet:
Shortly after I wrote an article for Newsweek about how Donald Trump’s business interests could undermine national security should he be elected president, one of his supporters assaulted me. He used the internet to do it.

I received a tweet from someone with the twitter handle “Mike's Deplorable AF.”

In his tweet, which has since been deleted, Mike made mention of my seizures and included a small video. It contained images of Pepe the Frog, a cartoon character that has been identified by the Anti-Defamation League as a hate symbol. I was carrying my iPad, looking at the still image on the video and, without thinking, touched the PLAY button.
The video was some sort of strobe light, with flashing circles and images of Pepe flying toward the screen. It’s what’s called epileptogenic—something that triggers seizures. Fortunately, since I was standing, I simply dropped my iPad to the ground the second I realized what Mike had done. It landed face down on the bathroom floor.
The deplorables are real. The deplorables are dangerous.
Newsweek: HOW DONALD TRUMP SUPPORTERS ATTACK JOURNALISTS
He’s not the only one. The Secret Service escorted Katy Tur out of a rally after Trump verbally attacked her and whipped up the crowd, implicitly encouraging violence against her:
Trump thought my tweets were "disgraceful" and "not nice!" according to a chastising note from his 26-year-old press secretary, Hope Hicks. In the hours that followed, Trump took his complaints public, trashing me and CBS News reporter Sopan Deb for the coverage.
"@KatyTurNBC & @DebSopan [sic] should be fired for dishonest reporting," he tweeted. "@KatyTurNBC, 3rd rate reporter & @SopanDeb @CBS lied."
He demanded I apologize.
I didn't, so Trump decided to go further in Mount Pleasant, pointing his finger squarely at me and launching a personal attack as millions of Americans watched at home.
"What a lie it was," Trump said, referring to the claim that he had left the stage abruptly. "What a lie. Katy Tur. What a lie it was. Third. Rate. Reporter. Remember that." The crowd's boos ricocheted off the iron hull of the USS Yorktown.

It's unlikely, however, that any of Trump's future attacks will be as scary as what happened in Mount Pleasant, where the crowd, feeding off Trump, seemed to turn on me like a large animal, angry and unchained.
It wasn't until hours later, when Secret Service took the extraordinary step of walking me to my car, that the incident sank in.
Marie Claire: My Crazy Year with Trump, by Katy Tur
There is an evil growing in our nation. It must be stopped.
The first step is repudiating their leader, Donald Trump, by electing Hillary Clinton in a landslide. It is a simple matter of right and wrong, good and evil.
