Last week, I made a trek to the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex which encompasses thee refuges in close proximity. Thousands of Greater White-fronted Geese have arrived and the rest of the waterfowl coming down from Canada and elsewhere aren’t far behind. The Snow Geese will arrive in great numbers in December and the Sandhill Cranes have lready started to show up in their usual haunts.
