According to the updated totals on the Clark County website, there are 431,499 active registered Democrats and 292,163 active registered Republicans as of now. The margin is 139,336 which represents a net gain of 1,298 from yesterday. This is incredible!!!!
Do not forget, the race between Heck and Masto for Harry Reid’s senate seat is going to be very close. Every second that goes by, we move closer to retaining that seat. As of now, I would give Masto a 70% chance of holding it. Tuesday is the registration deadline in Nevada.
At this point in 2012, we had an advantage of about 127,000 among registered voters. Tomorrow, we should achieve and surpass a margin of 140,000 over the Republicans among active registered voters in Clark County. And for the first time, there will be over one million active registered voters there.
On a related note, Palm Beach County (Florida) updated their website and we have bested the Republicans by 2,096 registered voters there since the end of August. Pretty good!
Okay folks, it’s very late and I’m exhausted having just gotten back from seeing my good friend perform in Sweeney Todd.
