Donald Trump likes to sue. Even more, he likes to threaten to sue. He threatened to sue the women who accused him of sexual assault as part of his new Gettysburg rant. He threatened to sue the New York Times for releasing a portion of one of his tax returns. During the primaries he threatened to sue Ted Cruz over ads, the RNC over debates, and a T-shirt company over … T-shirts. He’s frequently waxed lyrical over his desire to weaken the First Amendment to make it easier to sue the media. And that’s just a tiny fraction of the 3,500 lawsuits Donald Trump has been involved in.
The sheer volume of lawsuits is unprecedented for a presidential nominee. No candidate of a major party has had anything approaching the number of Trump’s courtroom entanglements.
However, in the mutual admiration society that is the current GOP, a group of Republican candidates have threatened to sue over commercials connecting them to Trump. Just think of them as a tribute band.
So when Donald Trump threatens to sue over the release of the infamous tape in which he bragged about how his power position entitled him to unlimited free sexual assault, it should be no surprise.
Add NBC to the list of people and organizations that Donald Trump may sue after the election. …
“You think it was illegal what they did, putting that tape out?” O’Reilly asked.
“Oh absolutely,” he replied. “No, that was a private dressing room. Yeah. That was, certainly.”

What is Donald Trump planning to do about the release of the tape?
“You'll see. You’ll see,” Trump said, adding that his comments, while they “shouldn’t have been said,” were just “locker room talk.”
The tape was first published by the Washington Post after the newspaper received a leaked copy. NBC also planned to air the clip but was scooped by the Post as network executives deliberated over how to handle the footage, CNN reported.
In another Thursday interview about the tape on EWTN Global Catholic Network, Trump said the microphones “should never have been on.”
