Can we talk first about hostility? I have received it firsthand, both as a law enforcement officer and in my own family. When I badgered Mom, then about 86, to brush her teeth, she told my husband I was Hitler! And the Donald - when he doesn't get his way, when people don't fall fawning at his feet, look out for the fireworks! At this moment he's feeling so threatened and angry that he’s going to get revenge, he’s trotting out three of BILL Clinton's female accusers. Nobody has this kind of complaint about HILLary. Because behind every strong man is a strong woman — so it must all be her fault!
In spite of buying an estate complete with a library to die for, Trump doesn't read. Mom, in her youth a pioneering psychoanalyst, stopped keeping up with her medical journals, correspondence, and finally the Tribune.
Told there were mice in her house and I was setting traps, my mother said "Oh, yeah, well..." to which I replied "There can NOT be rodents in our homes!" Trump manages to acknowledge changing climate patterns only as it threatens what he cares about like his Scottish golf course; he doesn't see the big picture. Apparently he’s heard of the threats from global heating, but doesn't care that a threat to one is a threat to all.
Trump's children and handlers have no doubt noticed "Donald being Donald" and are hiding it from us. Just so, in March 2006, when Cook County Board President John Stroger had a massive stroke, his family and friends conspired to hide its severity until well after the primary election and their patriarch, near death, had won. He never did recover.
Those with dementia often curse like sailors and don’t hold back verbally in any way. That’s him!
This isn't just another case of a rich obnoxious man lording his privilege over the masses, this is dementia. Let's not help the Trump camp insinuate itself into the power structure before the truth gets out!
