We should be pretty darned proud, as Democrats.
Boo, Sen. Rand Paul re-elected in KY. But we expected that. Indiana exits have Bayh losing by 6, which would be fitting. No one likes the guy except other lobbyists. It would’ve been nice to pick up the seat, but it would’ve sucked to suffer Bayh.
Per CNN exits:
Whites w/ college degree:
Trump +1 2012: Romney +14
Whites w/out college degree
Trump +36 2012: Romney +26
It’s not so much of a race-based political realignment, as an “uneducated white people vs everyone else” realignment.
Virginia exit poll:
White with college degree
Clinton +1 2012: Romney +10
Non-college white
Trump +44 2012: Romney +44

Florida is looking brutal for Trump:
What's cooking in Duval. Clinton over Trump 49-47 w/ 300K votes in. If that doesn't change, it's over. GOP can't win statewide w/o Duval— Jeremy Wallace (@JeremySWallace) November 9, 2016

Romney won it 51-48, with a total of 400,000 votes cast.
