Hot dog! Don’t know how long the 3rd Rail is going to let us populist near the megaphone so I gotta make the most of this. Just off the top of my head I have two programs that address not only the concerns of the heartland, but puts the country back on track. This really helps the poor and rural folk out the most, so it didn’t get much traction during the general. Hope I got ears now!
1) Solar on every roof!
Our living and breathing Leonardo De Vinci, aka Elon Musk, has a proven product in his solar roofing tile and local battery packs. This isn’t SciFi or what if, this is happening:
Elon Musk's Tesla Powers American Samoan Island With Solar Energy
www.natureworldnews.com/…
The Ta'u Island in American Samoa in now completely run with Tesla power packs. In a tweet published Tuesday, Tesla Motors announced that the island now runs on nearly 100 percent solar energy, thanks to more than 5,300 solar panels and 60 Tesla Powerpacks.
After the successful $2.6 billion acquisition of SolarCity in Nov. 21, Tesla utilized SolarCity's microgrid system to provide sustainable solutions to energy generation. Before the introduction of solar energy, the island used to rely on 109,500 gallons of diesel per year or $8 million in fuel costs.
Each rural community is an island. For once, deploy in the flyover and work your way to the coasts. With ambition, common sense and American know-how, we could use our massive treasure of renewable resources to power our future.
If we just cut off corporate welfare for carbon-based energy solutions, we could get this started tomorrow. If we do not deploy some type of Apollo Project for renewable energy soon, history and future generations will howl.
Either way, image the look on a lot of faces when it’s the Democrats that gets them off the grid, a unicorn of a lot people who voted Trump. Funny that. Because this would be an absolute boon for some rural folk whom the electric bill money would be an incredible junk of change to get back. Or in some cases, means the lights are on at all.
Speaking of which
2) Locally sourced chicken in every pot!
My unicorn will always be a will funded 4H that leads to local grants to get young people back to mom and pop farming. While industrial farming will have a place in this world to feed this world, the pendulum is swinging back towards the backbone of our republic being people instead of corporations. Farmers still being the backbone of our country, Wall Street be damned, it makes sense to cultivate an atmosphere to develop our future farmers of tomorrow.
By removing incredibly generous corporate welfare to bioag, I suggest we direct that money into 4H and similar programs from kindergarten up. This republic would also be best served if we used the millions upon millions in tax breaks we give to corporations and pool that money to get young farmers started, because land and equipment ain’t cheap either.
From veterans to young couple wanting to stick around their dying town, but they ain’t got two nickel to rub together but if given a chance, JUST A CHANCE, they would show us all what they can do.
Because farmer folk do that.
Manufacturing jobs aren’t coming back, but mom and pop farming is just there waiting, waiting for the milk and honey to once more flow from the cows locked away in cattle jails, which is why they never came home.
On the brighter side of the coin, some people might even finally get 40 acres and mule.
Imagine that fence mending, when just doing right by all.
Then we can have locally source chickens in every pot on a stove powered by renewables. Big ideas I know, but last I checked this was America.
Always, darkest before the dawn! Thanks for listening! Put your big ideas below!
Play us out Woodie.
