There was a time when you could take Alex Jones half seriously. Yes, he would go full bore into things like who shot JFK and whether or not the government and aliens were in cahoots since Rosewell, but he was always good for a few nice rants against corporate welfare and the need for transparency. His theatrical conspiracy style was only matched by Glenn Beck. After September 11, 2001 Jones’ focus on a military-level “New World Order” grew, and the conspiracies continued to expand larger and larger. The internet allowed those “webs” of conspiracy to grow very tangled indeed. Our country’s increasing militarization of police and the Patriot Act gave Jones and others a mountain of very legitimate gripes and anxieties that he and others (like our president-elect) have turned into a very lucrative industry. You gotta put that cash somewhere—amiright? Donald Trump has decided to move the top floor of Goldman Sachs into the White House and Alex Jones is one of Donald Trump’s biggest disinformation peddlers.
Here’s Jones telling you how Goldman Sachs “Rules the World.”
Here’s Jones today, explaining how Trump is fighting the good fight against the insiders, with the insiders, because they’re trying to “co-opt” his campaign. One of his arguments?
Listen, it’s pretty clear American Airlines was working with the “globalists” to cover up what really happened on 9/11. I still get on American Airlines craft because the pilots, the flight crew, the people on the control towers are good people.
Except, according to you, those “good people” are complicit in an attack on American soil that killed thousands and began two wars killing many more and took away all of our civil liberties.
Gotcha Alex.
