On War & Peace: Radical violent Islam that must be feared, not Islam itself
“I feel strongly that Muslims are excellent. I know so many Muslims that are such fabulous people. But there is a problem. I mean, there's no question about it. And, you know, we can be politically correct, and we can say there is no problem whatsoever. But the fact is, there is a problem with some. And it's a very severe problem. And it's a problem that's taking place all over the world. But I have such great respect and love for so many of the people. I mean, they are great people.” — Donald Trump in Meet the Press interviews during 2015.

I agree with Mr. Trump — there are fringe groups in the Islamic world which need to be prevented from entering the United States and defeated overseas. These groups are all Wahabi Sunnis — the same Wahabi offshoot of Sunni Islam as the Saudis and smaller states such as Oman and the UAE. (Makes one wonder why we’re supporting the Saudis — I guess the oil helps, eh?)
The Wahabi beliefs are an extremely radically conservative interpretation of Islam and a vehemently incredible hatred for Shia Muslims — the same Shia Muslims who have been the minority major section of Islam for centuries and who have been persecuted to the utmost terror by the Sunni Muslims.
An example of this terror is the assassination of the Prophet’s grandson Imam Husain in Karbala, Iraq fourteen centuries ago. Imam Husain preached love and peace whereas his rival Sunni “khalifa” preached hatred and terror — similar to the story of David and Goliath in the Bible. Yet we don’t want to put all the Wahabis in one basket — just the fringe. Confusing, I know, but Americans need to understand this once and for all.
Yes, Mr. Trump — please defeat these Wahabi Sunni radical terrorist fringe groups who have spread terror and chaos across the globe. To restate the title: On War & Peace: Radical violent Wahabi Sunni fringe groups must be feared, not Islam itself.
