I thought I’d do a little Wordle™ analysis of the Republican debate on March 10. Texts for all of these are the online NYT transcripts. The result of the debate overall is this first one.
“People” is big here (and on the Dem side), “going” I will assume is future “going to”, and I’m of course struck by “want / country / back” even though that was not a phrase originally.
Next, I broke down the four contenders (and for those wondering, I left their names as the transcript provided to give the image a sort of title. In (very) brief: Cruz=Washington/need Trump=people/going, Rubio=going/now *snerk* and Kasich, overall, is less repetitious.
Finally, I did the same for the Democratic debate earlier in the week, but this time I left out the names. You can probably guess who is who, but their images are captioned.
