Continuing a long tradition of elite party insiders showing more loyalty to their class than to democratic principles or human decency, the DNC's notorious Debbie Wasserman Schultz tried to exclude Bernie supporters from the recent Democratic debate.
The independent mayor of Warren, MI, Jim Fouts, reported that after making favorable comments about Bernie Sanders, he was approached by event security and told::
“The sergeant-at-arms said, ‘The people that run this want you ejected, they don’t want you here,’” Fouts said.
When asked if it was Wasserman Schultz making the request, Fouts said, “The security guy said, ‘Don’t say I said it.’”

This is just the latest example of Tammany Hall tactics from allegedly Democratic party officials determined to coronate Hillary as the party candidate. It continues a shameful tradition that includes the wholesale exile of Ralph Nader from the party (or any role of significance in progressive politics in general, see the excellent documentary “An Unreasonable Man”), and has it's roots in the 1944 railroading against Henry Wallace as VP nom.
When we start running out events the same way Trump runs his events, you know something is seriously wrong with our party. We should be ashamed.
