History was just made. Controversial presidential candidate Elijah Manley received his first endorsement. Reggie Sears, a pop star and child music prodigy just saw no truth in the current 2016 candidacy until he met Elijah Manley. “There are so many candidates, who are sold out to wall street. I thought America was doomed. The rich in this country is getting richer, the poor, poorer. Elijah, is different. He doesn’t want their money.” That’s very ironic, because this presidential candidate is not even old enough to be President. Yes—that’s right, he’s only seventeen. The seventeen year old is running for President to fight “institutionalized age discrimination..age barriers.”
Why would a pop star endorse a seventeen your old kid for President of the United States? Why not Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio, or the old populist socialist from Vermont? Most artists have endorsed one of the qualifying candidates. Well, Mr. Sears has a lot to say about that.
Here’s the dialog:
Why are you endorsing Elijah Manley, a seventeen year old?
”Well, I have to tell you the truth. Elijah is a true brutha. He stands for what he believes in. I’ve seen so many candidates promise things that they aren’t going to do, and lie to us. I am fed up with the fat cats on wall street holding our government hostage, and I am sure that everyday Americans are as well. I would prefer to see this seventeen year old as President, rather than some of the candidates that we have right now.”
What does Elijah possess that the other candidates don’t?
“Energy. True energy, and passion. I wish when I was seventeen I would have been doing something productive, even if I was called silly for it. And see that’s the thing. Even in the midst of being called silly and ignorant for deliberately challenging the constitution, he has remained true to what he believes. He’s making a statement— government is getting bigger, but solutions are getting smaller. I think that’s what separates him from the rest of them.”
What do you like the most about Elijah?
”His passion, his energy. He knows he isn’t going to win, but for some reason, he sees that a voice of young people are underrepresented. I also like the fact that this kid is bipartisan. He’s worked with republicans and democrats to come to better solutions for our youth. He can get along with conservatives, left wingers, and moderates like myself.”
I can see why Reggie Sears decided endorsed the young man, and this is very interesting. I think we all can agree, that the kid is standing up for what he believes in. Reggie grew up trying to fight for what he believes in, and he trusts Elijah’s mission for our nation. Maybe the kid isn’t bad after all. Let’s give them a round of applause!
