And here we are — the enthusiasm gap in Clark county, NV, was YUUUUGE and Bernie won the county convention 2958-2390! That means Bernie is winning Nevada! But besides the win that means that Bernie is in a position to cut #TheLead by another 8-10-12-14 pledged delegates when the district and state conventions are over. The final Nevada split will be in Bernie’s favor. Congrats, fellow BERNers! We can do this!!!
Update 1: There are no official stories yet, but the news is all over Twitter. There were many no-shows on both sides and alternates were seated. The split should be something like 4800-4000 for Hillary, but it ended 2958-2390 for Bernie.
In the other big county — Washoe, Bernie won 744-618 and also improved his standing — from 54.2% to 54.6%. At the moment Bernie is winning all four CD’s in Nevada and will get at least 19 of the delegates, but he is in very good position to split CD2, CD3 and/or CD4 by 4-2 instead of 3-3, so it can end up even 22-15. We have to wait till May 15th — the State and District conventions date.
Update 2: Some good caucus news for Hillary too — in Fort Collins, Colorado, the District convention in CD2 ended 311 Bernie, 180 Hillary and the projected Bernie’s pick-up didn’t happen. Bernie’s no-shows were [merely] over 40%, while Hillary’s no-shows were only 35% and so the initial split 4-3 held.
