I recommend you watch this video in its entirety. It was released in 1991 and it is more revealing than many of the current news, because it reveals a pattern! A scary pattern. I found it very disturbing and had this realization that we are dealing with someone who has outmaneuvered people and circumstances over 20 or more years with impunity. A top con artist! And I wonder if we are prepared for it? Do we remember the swiftboating of John Kerry, a decorated Vietnam veteran, and how unprepared we were to respond to it? I wonder, are the Democrats and Hillary ready to handle him?
This video shows the long history of Trump’s scams and is well worth watching and studying:

Marco Rubio was right about one thing as reported in this New Yorker article: “Donald Trump is a con artist”
That same New Yorker article discusses this:
“If Trump were a con artist, he would be interested in politics only as a means to some other end. He wouldn’t believe in his political opinions; instead, he would see those opinions as convenient tools for gaining what he actually desires. Insofar as he believed in any of the policies he espoused, that belief would be purely incidental. Con artists aren’t true believers; they are opportunists. Trump, as a con artist, would give up on politics the moment it stopped serving his purposes, moving on to the next thing that gave him the same level of attention and adulation. He might, for example, drift away from political life the same way he drifted away from “The Apprentice,” or from any of his business or real-estate ventures before that.”
Does that ring a bell? Didn’t we read last week that Trump does not rule out quitting if he wins the election?
A different article discussing a book on con artists “The Confidence Game: Why We Fall for It … Every Time” states that “the dark triad of traits: psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and narcissism, any of those can predispose someone to being a con artist.”
But the most important point I need to make is the following. How is it even possible that Trump could get away with his many cons over the years? What Machiavellian strategy does he use to keep conning people and ending up seemingly unscathed? How can we prevent him doing it one more time, now?
In the discussion on the book quoted above the question was asked “Why do so many cons go unreported?”
And the answer may hold the solution to not allowing Trump to get away with his con this time around:
One, we often don’t want to acknowledge to ourselves that we’ve been conned. It’s crazy how often you have people who, even when you present them with evidence that they’ve been the victim of a scam, refuse to believe it. The other thing is even if we do realize we’ve been scammed, we often don’t want to let other people know, because we’re embarrassed. One of the con artists that I follow in the book, the mass impostor Ferdinand Demara, was able to operate over and over because nobody reported him. One of his most daring escapades was fooling the Canadian Navy during the Korean War by posing as a surgeon, and the Navy never pressed charges.
Marco Rubio was obviously embarrassed after getting in the ring with Trump. So was Jeb Bush. Cruz never said anything but he may be one who refuses to believe he was played. And the media, they don’t want to accept that Trump is playing them like an accordion. On some days the media will reprimand Trump on others they will run away with praising his “boldness”. The media is a willing accomplice, and they will never believe that they too are the victim of a scam, a scam that may end up costing them and the country their freedom of speech, and to the American people, their freedom. Even if he quits, we get Gringrich, which is a different evil but also an evil (Assuming he is the VP nominee).
Solutions? We have to advertise every one of his cons and make sure more people realize who he is. That long video I posted needs to be cut into little pieces, short 2 minute ads, listing every one of his scams and how he got away with it. We have to get the media talking and asking the question, how could he get away with it, again and again and again?
