Here is Rachel Maddow & teams report. There are other outrageous stories in this report. The DuPont poisoning story begins @ minute 7:58:

Rachel Maddow shares recent news stories that are pushing her outrage-o-meter into the red zone, including a Colorado law that requires the family of an Aurora mass-shooting victim to pay $220,000 in legal fees to the ammunition maker they tried to sue.
Today, Daily Kos investigator/journalist Joan McCarter published this report on the republican agenda to eliminate corporate regulations. Placing profit above life, both human, and a natural healthy environment and all its critters.
...eliminating regulations that protect people from Wall Street gamblers (CFPB); polluting industries (EPA); every and any regulation perceived as a limit on corporate profits. Regulations carefully designed and based on empirical evidence over many years to protect people and the environment.
This story by Joan McCarter brought back the memory of those Texas workers that literally walked into a death trap. Completely avoidable if adequate safety regulations had been in place, and those in place had been enforced.

Again: DuPont paid a $99,000 dollar fine for the preventable deaths of four people.
There is very little incentive for the Titans of any industry — Petroleum, Financial/Banks, Wall Street, Healthcare controlled by insurance cartel, Extraction Industries, too many to name — to discontinue “business practices” that injure and kill people and foul the earth.
This is the so-called “free-market” GOP and its war on workers; a crime syndicate in every sense that matters — not unlike methyl mercaptan — imo — “destroying everything good”.
This death-by-poison-gas story is just one aspect of the “conservative” reactionary business model.
There are as many more stories of the poisoning of the land and its people as there are “conservative” nightmare ideas about “making America great again”

— Resist — (as Dartagnan said so well) — stand up against the only deadly “illegals” that blight this land and its people — the corporate shell company aka the GOP and its illegitimate leadership
