One of the tools in President Trump’s “Weapons of Mass Distraction”toolbox is to, when cornered about this or that outrageous allegation is to claim “I saw it somewhere” or “Somebody told me.” Sometimes he’ll cite the source (if inadvertently )and sometimes not. But he uses this form of deflection often enough that I say it’s long past time to hold HIM to the same standard he applies to others. He has so much fun at other’s expense with his bullshit I say that turnabout is fair play. So let’s have some fun shall we?
Trump wanders the White House in his bathrobe at night looking for someone who will talk to him. How do we know this? We all read/heard about it!
When Trump’s campaign was starting to tank so badly even Putin’s machine wasn’t going to keep him from falling to a loss of landslide proportions Kellyanne & company took away his smart phone so he couldn’t Tweet! How do we know this? We all read/heard about it!
Trump will sign whatever Bannon puts in front of him – he didn’t even know that he signed an Executive Order dumping actual National Security experts like the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs or the Director of National Intelligence from the Principal’s Committee of the National Security Council and appointing his good buddy Steve Bannon! How do we know this? We all read/heard about it!
Now, on that last one some of you might point out that most of it is confirmed – but the important part is that Trump didn’t know what he was signing.
This is fun, at least for me. So let’s get to the big one:
Trump got golden showers (for anyone who doesn’t know that means someone peeing on him) from Russian hookers at a swanky hotel in Moscow! And the Russians have it on video! How do we know this? We all read/heard about it!
Wouldn’t it be nice if the biggest names in journalism started applying the same standard to Trump that he applies to everyone else?
