On aster Monday, Hubby had the day off, so we went off to Pittsburgh to tour through the Phipps Conservatory in order to have an early taste of spring. Indeed, though just a two hour drive south, Pittsburgh was way ahead of us with its spring blooms. We have a long winter where we live, and Hubby being a native Californian who loves gardening, after months of no flowers, he needs to be able to appreciate living, growing, blooming plants, shrubs and trees.
