Nothing gets republicans as excited as mentioning the Hillary uranium scandal. That is probably why Donald Trump brings it up whenever storm clouds begin to rage around his orange head. Educated people however, will not be distracted when Trump waves his magic wand, but most of his supporters will. Hillary uranium story is absolutely nothing. Of course, Trump does not expect any charges to be filed. However, every news story about the Hillary uranium story and not about him is a victory.

Donald Trump is president as a result of how he smeared Hillary through the mud. America didn't vote for Donald Trump, we voted for the other candidate besides Hillary. This is the same woman that devoted her life to providing legal aid to impoverished women and children. While our president was raping women in bathrooms, Hillary's charity was funding medicine to sick people and food to starving people.
Donald Trump was able to make a woman with such a benevolent past the most hated woman in the country. Russia and Wikileaks helped him by streaming fictitious Hillary scandal after Hillary scandal across our internet. It worked. Except all of those scandals turned out to be nothing. For example, Republicans had eight investigations into Benghazzi. The conclusions of all of these REPUBLICAN investigations were the same, Hillary did nothing wrong.
We haven't seen Hillary on camera for months. She is a forgotten name of the past. But Trump continues to massacre her, because it works! The hatred he ignited for Hillary was so intense, all he has to do is remind America about her.

Last month, Trump was bummed when the special counsel announced charges against Trump campaign aides. Finally, the greatest lie America ever fell for was starting to unravel. His reaction, instantaneously, was to suggest that the Justice Department instead, investigate Hillary Clinton and her involvement with the "Uranium One" scandal.
“Uranium deal to Russia, with Clinton help and Obama Administration knowledge, is the biggest story that Fake Media doesn’t want to follow!” Mr. Trump wrote in a Twitter post on Oct. 19.
All Trump had to do was remind his minions of that old Hillary scandal. He didn't introduce any new evidence or facts, he just reminded them of a seven year old story, that public corruption prosecutors in Washington dropped years ago, because there was not enough evidence.

As of today, there has been no evidence that donations from the Clinton Foundation had anything to do with the Uranium One deal. NYTimes
Still, many republican politicians fell for Trump's hocus-pocus. Watch my left hand, while my right one steals your wallet. Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Representative Bob Goodlatte of Virginia also called for investigations into the Uranium One deal.
However, many republicans see through it. Anyone who can see that Trump is just trying to distract us from his nefarious crimes, does not want anything to do with an investigation that will ultimately be proven a waste of time and money.

AG Jeff Sessions for example, went before the Senate the other day. At the time, Trump had just recently stirred the cup, and many republicans were plenty furious with this Uranium One scandal.
Rep. Jim Jordan from Ohio was one. He would love to divert the attention away from Trump. He asked Sessions why the Justice Department had not named a special prosecutor yet to investigate Hillary.
Sessions replied that such an appointment would require "a factual basis".
Jordan just got angry.
Sessions shut Jordan up by reminding him that, "You can have your idea, but sometimes we have to study what the facts are," Sessions told Jordan.
Jordan tried to persuade Sessions with all of these improbable likelihoods.
To which Sessions said, "I would say 'looks like' is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel."
So even the Trump appointed Attorney General refuses to take the Uranium One deal seriously.

On Tuesday, a Fox news anchor defied the network and the audience and debunked the glorious Hillary Uranium One conspiracy. Shep Smith said,
Nine people involved in the deal made donations to the Clinton Foundation totaling more than $140 million. In exchange, Secretary of State Clinton approved the sale to the Russians — a quid pro quo.
The accusation is predicated on the charge that Secretary Clinton approved the sale. She did not. A committee of nine evaluated the sale, the president approved the sale, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and others had to offer permits, and none of the uranium was exported for use by the U.S. to Russia. That is Uranium One. Yahoo
Nothing validates your argument more, than when your opponent keeps reciting an argument that has been proven bogus. Is that really all they have?
In that case, I could understand why they are so desperate.
