So, it’s alleged that Donald Trump revealed top secret, top coded information to the Russians regarding potential terrorist plots. It’s not just a lack of intelligence, let alone wisdom, but a lack of maturity that again Trump has manifest. Psychologically, he is not right, in so many ways. If his alleged actions are true, he’s like a kid saying, “Na, na, na, na, na, I’ve got a secret no one else has and guess what, I’m gonna tell you to show you how big and important I am.”
Trump cannot be trusted by us, and our allies. Yes, I know I am preaching to the choir, but I need to vent. I’ve always felt that Trump’s accusations about Hillary, Obama and others were projections of DT’s personality: attributing actions and ideas that are by and in him, while the others don’t do or have.
Wikipedia states it succinctly
Projection tends to come to the fore in normal people at times of personal or political crisis[17] but is more commonly found in the neurotic or psychotic[18] in personalities functioning at a primitive level as in narcissistic personality disorder or borderline personality disorder
In case you haven’t heard about Trump’s alleged security breach, according to Washington Post
President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.
The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said.
The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State…
“This is code-word information,” said a U.S. official familiar with the matter, using terminology that refers to one of the highest classification levels used by American spy agencies. Trump “revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies.”
Trump has already manifest deep insecurity (all those “big, huge, terrific” adjectives), narcissism, and a mental disconnect when he goes off the cuff and his tweets. When he talks, it seems like he has a limited vocabulary, which is very repetitious. His frequent use of bait and switch tactics to distract people from vital issues is amazing. Yes, I suppose you could say similar things about other politicians, but it is the extreme level of these manifestations that should be a concern to people.
If Trump’s latest behavior doesn’t lead to impeachment, it’s certainly worth adding it to the list of reasons to consider it.
