This comment by Bluestategreen in my 'Trump Property' diary in response to Calvino Partigiani's comment: "Tick tock, tick tock”
From MikeTheLiberal:
I do like the reply from kurious in the diary “Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III has acute memory lapses and is unfit to serve as Attorney General” by Laurence Lewis. He points out that Sessions was complicit in March 2016, where he didn’t put the best interests of the country first and gave Kislyak the message, “Go ahead; keep on hacking.”
From Jon Sitzman:
The topic matter is VERY sensitive, and I'll completely understand if you choose not to post this comment for that reason. It is, however, absolutely correct about typical reactions (Republicans = media offense, Democrats = dodging and defense) when an atrocious act like the shooting in Virginia this morning. I'm nominating this comment because it speaks to a defensive reflex in progressive and liberal people which, I think, gets us crushed in national-level media. Republicans aren't afraid to instantly go political and hit as dirty as they can. Democrats don't necessarily have to hit dirty, but we do have to FUCKING HIT BACK.
This is how. From Risen Tree’s recommended post on the GOP’s politicization of this morning’s shooting
