Here’s the Wikipedia poop on the Center:
The Center was founded and is run by Craig D. Idso, along with Sherwood B. Idso, his father, and Keith E. Idso, his brother. They came from backgrounds in agriculture and climate. According to the Idsos, they became involved in the global warming controversy through their study of earth's temperature sensitivity to radiative perturbations and plant responses to elevated CO2 levels and carbon sequestration. The Center sharply disputes the consensus scientific opinion on climate change shown in IPCC assessment reports, and believes that global warming will be beneficial to mankind.

Papa Sherwood B. Idso has the following degrees: B.Phys. in Physics in 1964, M.S. in Soil Science (minor in Physics) in 1966, Ph.D. in Soil Science (minor in Meteorology and Mechanical Engineering) in 1968, doctoral thesis, The photosynthetic response of plants to their environment: a holocoenotic method of analysis.

Impressive array of agronomy, most likely monoculture agriculture credentials. How to grow plants for economic exploitation, in other words. Note the dab of Meteorology and Mechanical Engineering. The man is fascinated with plants and their love of CO2. But there’s a whole ‘nother world out there beyond corn and soybeans and wheat.
Son Craig D. Idso has enlarged his world to geography: B.S. in Geography, M.S. in Agronomy, Ph.D. in Geography, doctoral thesis, Amplitude and phase changes in the seasonal atmospheric CO2 cycle in the Northern Hemisphere.
Granted, geography touches a dab on meteorology and climatology.
Son and brother Keith E. Idso, B.S. in Agriculture, major in Plant Sciences, M.S., major in Agronomy and Plant Genetics. He completed his Ph.D. in Botany at Arizona State University.
Yep. Plants that love the CO2.
At any rate, I do not believe that the father and sons trio have much of a background in climatology, given an examination of their studies.
And, they, collectively, have authored a book on global warming denial aimed at innocent little kids, and Katy Farber of MOMS Clean Air Force is quite alarmed:
According to the Washington Post, a fake science book aimed at our children, titled “Why Scientists Disagree About Global Warming” has been delivered to 25,000 science teachers. Another 175,000 books will be sent in the coming weeks, and that will continue until every science teacher in the country has a copy.
This is worth repeating…
Every science teacher, across America will receive a “free” copy of a book of climate lies.
The cover seems pretty harmless, right? It has the look of a trustworthy, fact filled, well-researched textbook.
But wait. Do scientists disagree about climate change? No. There is a consensus of 97% of scientists that human-made climate change is real and that these climatic changes are warming our planet and already causing widespread health and environmental impacts.

As Ms Farber puts it, “poisoning the minds of children”, as well as the air they have to breathe.
At any rate:
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Make damn sure your kid has not been exposed to this book!
Oh yeah. This book was published by the Heartland Institute, funded by the Koch Boys and the Bradley Foundation. That ought to give you a clue or two.
