Capitol Police Special Agent Crystal Griner is being lauded as one of the people who saved lives at last week’s shooting at the Republican Congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, VA. To celebrate her, the women’s Congressional softball game brought Griner out to throw the first pitch. Griner was wheeled out due to injuries sustained during the shootout; she was shot in the ankle but is expected to make a full recovery.
