I almost missed this today and even though he isn’t up for re-election until 2020, Public Policy Polling shows that U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R. KY) constant attempts to take away your healthcare already dooming his re-election chances:
Here’s a little more info:
A Public Policy Polling survey found just 18 percent of respondents approve of the job McConnell is doing, compared with 74 percent who disapprove.
If McConnell were up for reelection today, 37 percent of respondents said they would vote for the Kentucky Republican. Another 44 percent would instead choose a Democratic opponent, according to the survey.
An additional 19 percent said they were unsure.

McConnell probably doesn’t give a shit about polling now or if he ever has. But one has to wonder when he might retire. It would be hilarious and poetic if McConnell remains so toxic the closer we get to 2020 that Republicans do to him what he did to U.S. Senator Jim Bunning (R. KY) and forced him into retirement. We shall see.
