In regards to the FBI story, I want to stress the notion that the president of the United States has been disparaging the actions of the FBI as an organization ever since he was inaugurated, and this has a profound effect on morale! I will write it again; this has a profound effect on morale! If the president had been providing appropriate support and encouragement to the organization, then, perhaps, morale would have been at a level where people were more prepared to perform their duties and perform them at a high level. If one is an employee in a position where the management does not believe in the job that the employee is doing, the employee is not inclined to perform the required duties with utmost efficiency. In the case of the president, he has been undermining the duties performed by the organization ever since his inauguration. This is not to say that the FBI should be let off the hook for missing the reports about the shooter. But it is near-sighted and disingenuous to expect that the people working in and for the FBI are doing their best work, when the president of the United States undermines the diligent efforts of the men and women of the FBI with every single snide and derogatory tweet he sends regarding the FBI. Besides that, the issue here is gun control. This country should be focused on getting assault weapons out of the hands of civilians! Every advanced country has done it. The United States is alone in its acceptance of unleashed carnage on its own citizens! I stand with the students of Parkland. This carnage is not the fault of the FBI. This is the fault of every politician over the last few decades that has allowed these types of situations to become an accepted occurrence of American culture. These politicians have proved that they have no shame, no remorse, and no conscience, therefore, it is up to the citizens of America to make sure that they no longer have a political platform from which they can make the wrong choices that impact American lives (and American deaths). Vote Them Out!
