Alright, well, bye-bye sanity!
I just got back from school! How fun. Sure, It’s my second day as a freshman, that's all cool and all. But, I already have so much drama in my life. For instance, its the second day of school, why are people already asking people out to HOMECOMING. It’s literally more than three months away. Let’s get adjusted to a new sleep schedule before we discuss what color dress I’m wearing to Homecoming. (Probably red.)
Also, mom always asks why I always say, “don’t judge me.” Well, since school started on Monday, let me give you some prime examples. This girl “B” thinks she’s the sh*t. Well...sorry to burst your bubble sweetie, but you’re just like the rest of us. Your big earrings and foundation don’t cover your true colors. I won’t lie and say she doesn't bother me. Because she does.
Good job B, you won. Just kidding haha. She may have me on edge and make me think that everyone is judging me all the time. But, she isn’t scaring me. All the things she says are fake, pointless, contradicting. I could go on four hours. But, I won’t. We don’t need you guys to lose your sanity too. Not for my rants at least.
Sadly for me, and you, this isn’t any new drama. There is much more. But, I will spare you and cut to something a little happier. Homework.
So far, all two days I’ve been in high school, homework hasn’t been bad at all. Knock on wood. You see, our school has a nice schedule. We have what is called “a-day” and “b-day.” That means we have three classes every day. So, we don’t have much homework every day. Which is great. But, it also means that you have two “first day of schools.” If that makes sense. Eh, nothing makes sense anymore anyway, with Trump being our president and all.
Not having a lot of homework every day is nice. But, if you slack for one night you are dead. You can fall behind super easily. And, I know it’s going to be hard to stay on top of things. The good this is we have an added class called advisory. It is basically a 45-minute long period where we get to go to any teacher we want and do homework. It is a great opportunity to get more than half of your work done. That makes it easier to finish all of your homework, plus you have your teacher of choice and friends to work with you and help you.
So far, I’m trying to keep a positive outlook on school. Yesterday was rough for me, but today was better. Maybe every day will be better than the next. We’ll just have to find out I guess...
