A brilliant move by Democrats. Keep the articles of impeachment short and narrow in scope. That way new impeachment articles can be sent after the Senate acquits or even in the midst of the upcoming Senate impeachment deliberations.
Judging by Trump’s persistent attacks on the Democrats and impeachment, he hates the word and the concept, calling it dirty, filthy and disgusting:

Undoubtedly, drawing up new articles of impeachment for past or future acts will not sit well with him. New impeachment articles could stir him to make new political errors and carry out more offenses that Republicans would have to defend in 2020. New charges would allow Democrats to reveal more evidence in new hearings to sway public opinion. And, since impeachment would continue to tie up the Senate, the Republican nominating and legislative agenda would both be delayed. It would keep them on the defensive and slow them down.
If more evidence appears or new witnesses are forced to testify due to court action, more impeachable offenses will be uncovered anyway. There may be no choice.
Some have argued for not submitting these impeachment articles to the Senate, in effect starting a rolling House impeachment process. If these current articles are not sent to the Senate then Republicans will not have their votes recorded. This would give them more wiggle room in the next election. We should have all Republican Senators on record. Multiple times. In the event of worse offenses revealed in the future, those Republican Senators on record would face even more political blowback for their impeachment votes.
A final gratifying touch — Trump could end up being the only President impeached twice. Not just an asterisk after his name, but a double asterisk. Or triple….
Impeach as necessary, early and often!
