Greetings and welcome to another little ball of fluff coughed up by fuzzy and adorable me, Marko the Werelynx.
Anybody in the mood for an 18th century chateau?
Or peacocks? Definitely a few peacocks around the place...
Ploskovice
On Sunday we picked up my fabulous mother-in-law and headed north to visit a lesser known architectural treasure. Just about an hour drive from Prague is Chateau Ploskovice and yes, their website is in English.
A peek inside some of the other rooms:
It’s been a whirlwind week again here in the Liver of Europe. I’ve got another diary’s worth of photos just from the observation tower we visited that afternoon. Then on Monday I attended a protest rally and afterwards visited my old Life Drawing class and went out for a few beers with the instructor. Tuesday was pretty normal, but Wednesday there was a free day thanks to the Allied forces in WW II and I took another little train trip with friends and hiked back to Prague past lovely ponds and beautiful woodlands. I should probably pick something from those days to post for next week and drop it into the SP diary queue as I’ll probably be too busy next week to write much.
Thanks for stopping by.
