The Old Boys Club is facing disruption. Nancy Harris has announced the launch of her 2020 campaign looking to become the first woman Idaho sends to the U.S. Senate.
Harris is an Idaho native who says she is one of Idaho’s first car saleswomen and first Xerox saleswoman, according to a release. She also founded Caldwell homes furnishing store, Wooded River, in 1992 before selling it in 2004.
Harris is running for the seat held by Sen. Jim Risch.

“As a U.S. Senator,” Harris said , “I will work hard to preserve Idaho values, fight for those who are most in need, and defend our democracy.”
My family had a great time at her launch party last Saturday. And it was great to see and hear Cristina McNeil and Aaron Swisher — both Democrats who ran last year for the U.S. House of Representatives — and state Rep. John McCrostie, D-Garden City.
This powerful force can change Idaho, and aid the effort to turn the Senate blue, nationally.
