It just all came together this morning. Apologies in advance if this comes out a bit disjointed (and certainly rushed) but I hadn’t seen this possibility really addressed and wanted to get the germ of it out here so that keener minds can consider it. Does this seem reasonable or likely?
Oh, Russia, if you’re reading this…
Pompeo and Pence the rest of their ilk want their Armageddon and they came *this close* to getting it with Iran by manipulating the idiot Trump, failing (so far) because Iran is smarter than Trump.
In brief, The Rapture means the end of the world and the ‘Chosen’ go to Heaven while the rest of us die in agony. And if you think the Evangelicals believe for one nanosecond that Trump will be among the ‘Chosen’ I have I have some crappy bedbug-laden golf resorts to sell you.
Trump is incredibly easy to manipulate and Pompeo and Pence are playing Trump for the fool he is.
This may also explain why Pence hasn’t tried using the 25th to remove Trump.
Trump has a cult following who will happily leap off a cliff if he told them that would own the liberals. Pence has, maybe ‘mother’ in his corner. So, a few reasons why Pence hasn’t tried:
- Trump’s cult would tear him limb from limb.
- Pence can’t terrify and force the actions needed to start the needed war. Do you think if Pence had directly ordered the assassination after removing Trump he would be obeyed?
- If the actions failed (as they have so far), the blame falls on Trump, not Pence and Pompeo. And whatever actions are taken to prevent another attempt fall on Trump (and likely the rest of us as collateral damage).
So leaving Trump ‘in charge’ allows these Rapture seeking fanatics to keep playing Trump (along with everyone else who is playing Trump) under the radar of most everyone.
I am guessing that no one has told Trump that giving Pompeo and Pence et al what they want means Trump dies. If they fail, the blowback is on Trump.
Do McConnell and the rest of the Republicans realise that they must die yet? What will their reaction be?
Does Putin realise he would die (or lose his empire, which would likely feel the same thing) yet? What might he do when he does?
