Either you agree that people have basic, inalienable rights, that everyone deserves a fair trial, that there are laws that protect these rights in a liberal democracy or you don't.

That I and many of the people better than me can't accept shipping anyone - anyone - off to Gitmo or black sites, that's a given.
But 50 folks endorsed the opposite.
No trial, no rights, no justice and no rule of law.
Just Gitmo as vengeance or punishment. No rules.
Well, there is no way I can even pretend that is ok.
