In a way, it’s a good time to be living, if you want to be intellectually challenged. Being there while it’s all happening in front of us, trying to make sense out of absurdity. One has to think: How much have we evolved?
Apparently, our perception of human evolution isn’t as fast and down and dirty as we might have imagined.
It seems like some people never made it past the school yard gate and are still immersed in the petty contrivances of misinformation and “alternate” facts. It’s easy. Their leader was cheated of his rightful seat of power. Regardless of “actual” facts.
Their leader--The Champion of All That Is Good About Humanity--stands above his followers in triumph, flexing “his” self-importance from atop the Jungle Jim.
Zombies. Right out of the movie pictures. Hordes. Hordes of them in the street, riled up into a mass fever of contempt and hatred. They were hungry and motivated as they crashed through windows, broke down doors, scaled walls, delivering fear, pain and death. Nothing will stand in they’re way until they’ve eaten everything. Tradition. Respect. Honor. Morality and Decency. Zombies. Seditionists. Dupes.
And what will happen to The Champion of All That is Good About Humanity as his zombie forces weaken and his creditors abandon him. He’ll be alone on an island of sorts. Less so in triumph, and without any awareness of humanity.
