I have always loved to eat cooked vegetables. Because of Crohn’s etc,, I cannot do raw. But I love kohlrabi, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, etc.
I was not raised on pork and so I have already given it up in my stretch to eat a more Kosher friendly meal plan. I was raised on beef, but really would not miss it if I had to give it up. It is sort of a like a filler to me, with no flavor you just eat it to eat.
And do not get me started on chicken and turkey. I only can eat dark meat as white meat is always so dry my lack of teeth cannot handle it.
So...why not become vegan or vegetarian?
I love seafood to an extreme. Whitefish, trout, herring, anchovies, shrimp, scallops, eel, jellyfish, etc.
I know companies have made great strides in producing veggie hamburgers and hotdogs, etc. that taste like the “real thing” which is all well and good, but like I said I am not a beef person.
My question is vegan or vegetarian seafood. I know from a search on teh Google that there is such a thing in existence, but I know nothing about it. Is it any good? Cost prohibitive?
Thanks in advance for answering my question.
