A bit more on swamps, this one from Florida in solidarity with their efforts to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Ian.
From the video: The Everglades in the south of Florida, USA, are usually viewed as a wetland, but they are rather a 60 miles wide slow river of fresh water flowing through wetlands and forests into Florida Bay. The park encompasses the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States, with one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems.
The video covers most areas of the park: Shark Valley, Gulf Coast in the northwest with Boat trip from Everglades City to the Ten Thousand Islands archipelago, Anhinga Trail, Flamingo area in the southwest including Back Country Boat Tour, and views of the wetlands from an airboat.
