My resume:
Marine, 2012-2017
White Supremacist Troll, 2015-2018
Progressive Data Scientist, 2022.
I grew up in an environment ripe for hatred. I got good at it. I can’t take back the things I did. I helped pushed a hateful ideology through Twitter’s lax moderation during 2017 to get Trump elected. That’s not me anymore, hence the Prince Zuko image from Avatar the Last Airbender. I still have the same tricks and deft touch, so what a time to use them.
As you know Twitter is flirting with giving users the hallowed blue check mark to those who pay a simple $8.99 a month. I perked up at this. I’ve been wanting to use my skills again, but it’s tough because so much of it has used misinformation to get people riled up. My tactics now follow more of an animal mimic-ing another, rather than flat lies.
I’m encouraging everyone who can pay $8.99 and understand mimicry to join this campaign.
1) Get Twitter Blue. The blue checks aren’t given out yet, but maybe Elon will slip and let this happen
2) Find an election denier to mimic, and copy over the profile. Here’s my example profile
3) Use an AI generator to make tweets that mimic this person. The algos that create fake tweets use very similar math of the Twitter’s bot checker. If a person is predicted to make a Tweet A, both the generator and verification will look for Tweet A. Ouch! Long live the bots
4) Embed historical facts about white supremacy in the US. This is not a Jon Oliver piece. Do not bash the users. Just post a link, and let the mind accept it. Simply putting a thought in the mind, like that movie Inception. Really anything positive to improve/bring truth to user’s live’s are valid.
Best of luck all. I think eventually Twitter’s algo will bust our accounts after they notice non-hateful things are being posted. Nothing last forever, but it’s fun to play with for a bit.
